• Backing materials are bronze, gunmetal, steel or cast iron, purchased to specifications such as British Standards, ISO, DIN, SAE and customers' own specials.
• White Metals - are predominantly from the British Standard series and occasionally customers' own, or specials.
• White Metal Lining - in most cases is carried out by the centrifugal process. Where not possible, it is supported by comprehensive static lining processes.
• Bonding - The adhesion of white metal is carried out chemically and verified 100% by ultrasonic testing usually to ISO or customer's own specification. Our operators are qualified to ASNT level 2.
• Equipment - We continually invest in the latest CNC and special purpose machinery in order that we can further develop and improve processes to meet consistently high standards and maximise efficiency.
• Product Verification - In process measurements are made utilising all standard measuring equipment which is supported by full CNC co-ordinate measuring machine facilities.
  

At Coleherne we have full CAD/CAM facilities and can offer complete computerised bearing performance data calculations and we have a full CAD design service from preliminary requirements through to manufacture.
We also have additional support and direct computerised links with Kingsbury's commercial engineering facilities.

We offer reverse engineering from samples or preliminary sketches using this same facility.

We will investigate the reasons for bearing damage, failure or any other problems encountered with bearing performance.
